The Special Projects Group is a dedicated division focused on delivering high quality projects typically requiring specialized skills, accelerated schedules, and enhanced coordination. We are structured to execute the small to mid-sized projects that demand the same level of technical expertise, safety compliance and professional oversight as our major capital projects. Our Special Projects Group provides comprehensive preconstruction and construction services, including detailed cost estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews, and schedule development.

The Special Projects Group excels at challenging projects where seamless communication and quality work are critical, such as occupied facilities, medical campuses, and sites with complex logistical constraints.

From the simple hanging of a door to an intricate design-build renovation, Rudolph and Sletten’s Special Projects Group is designed to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. 

When we started the Special Projects Group in 1981, our vision was to create a separate division specifically designed to service the needs of smaller projects while drawing on the extensive resources of our entire company. We scaled the division to handle jobs such as tenant improvements and renovations as well as offer continuity of service on some of our larger projects. We were guided by Rudolph and Sletten’s core principles: honest pricing, realistic schedules, uncompromising quality, and a clean, safe work environment, and the same is true today

The Special Projects group is backed by the full resources of Rudolph and Sletten’s preconstruction, operations, safety and virtual design & construction (VDC) groups. We even use many of the same subcontractors. Because of our size, we maintain the ability to react quickly and address the needs of any situation. We bridge the gap between service work and major capital projects, ensuring consistent performance.
