Project Description

Buildout of a 24-acre site comprised of six buildings, including cGMP manufacturing with ISO5 cleanroom, office and lab building, central utility plant, and warehouse building to support packaging and distribution.

Project included large sitework package with the extension of an adjacent road, design-assist MEP package with process piping and equipment coordination, and complete commissioning and validation.

The building was designed to meet CALGreen building standards and Title 24 energy efficiency standards including LEED elements. The design of the building incorporated sustainability in a variety of ways, demonstrating the owner’s commitment to conservation. Exterior architectural features such as shade structures and building orientation were used to improve energy efficiency. Skylights were used to increase natural light and oversize fans contributed to a passive ventilation system for natural cooling. Rudolph and Sletten implemented a recycling program during the construction phase and was able to divert 90% of all construction waste away from landfill to recycling.
