Jay Paul Company, Moffett Towers• Project implemented a stormwater management plan that reduces imperious cover, promotes infiltration and captures and treats the stormwater runoff from 90% of the average annual rainfall using acceptable BMPs. The project BMPs are capable of removing at least 80% of the total suspended solids (TSS) from eth average annual post-development runoff. • Reducing the Heat Island Effect, 50% of the on-site parking stalls are located underground • A recycled water system reduces total water usage by 62.6%. • Sensor-activated low-flow lavatories and low-flow showerheads, dual-flush toilets and waterless urinals reduce the potable water usage by 46.9% • The project has achieved an energy savings of 19.9% using California Title-24 as a baseline. • Selected refrigerants and HVAC equipment were chosen to minimize the emission of compounds that contribute to ozone depletion and global warming. • The project team diverted 1,455.76 tons (91.86%) of on-site generated waste from the landfill. • 33.01% of the total building materials content, by value, have been manufactured using recycled materials. • Regional materials make up 13.53% of the total building materials • FSC certified forest building materials make up 81.16% of the total wood-based materials used in the construction. • All indoor adhesive, sealant, paint and coating products comply with the VOC limits of the referenced standards or Green Seal and SCAQMD standards. • The design achieved a 2% glazing factor in 93.88% of all regularly occupied spaces.
