That’s because we have our own in-house mechanical, electrical and plumbing estimating staff that prepares a detailed quantity take-off to compare with the subcontractor pricing. Since we have so much knowledge of each subcontractor field we can often put together better estimates than a subcontractor who is in a rush to put together a bid or cost estimate.
