RUDOLPH AND SLETTEN NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT IN SAN DIEGO
FOSTER CITY, CA( July 2, 2003)—Rudolph and Sletten General Contractors today announced the promotion of veteran Project Executive Frank Jones to Vice President. In his new capacity, Mr. Jones will continue to oversee the company’s San Diego office, which under his tenure has grown to be one of the largest contracting firms in the San Diego area.
Rudolph and Sletten is one of the leading general contractors on the West Coast and has provided quality-oriented general contracting and construction management services for over four decades. With its corporate headquarters in Foster City, the company also has regional offices in San Diego, Irvine, and Roseville, California.

As Vice President, Mr. Jones will be responsible for managing the San Diego staff of Project Executives and Project Managers, as well as its business development and administrative departments. The San Diego office has over 110 full time employees. Mr. Jones has been a central figure in spearheading the growth of the office, presiding over projects that expanded from $30 million in 1996 to $200 million this year.
Mr. Jones has overseen a number of key construction projects in San Diego, including; the University of San Diego Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice; the Donald P. Shiley Center for Science and Technology at the University of San Diego; Sweetwater Union High School District, Otay Ranch High School and San Ysidro High School; The Salk Institute for Biological Sciences; the renovation of the San Diego Museum of Art; Sea World San Diego; and The Scripps Research Institute.
Current projects in San Diego include University of California San Diego’s Eleanor Roosevelt College Housing and Dining; University of California San Diego’s Electrical Engineering Building 3B; Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development Center; La Jolla Playhouse Play Development and Educational Center; East Lake Middle School; Chula Vista Fire Station #7; Kaiser, Rancho San Diego Medical Office Building; and Kaiser, San Marcos Outpatient Medical Center, Phase II.
