| Project Engineers at Rudolph and Sletten, Inc. must have initiative, imagination, flexibility and the perseverance to perform their duties. The work is fast-paced and dynamic, with job site activities changing daily, and requires that the Project Engineer be a problem solver. As an integral part of the construction team the Project Engineer obtains hands-on experience from the beginning of his or her career with Rudolph and Sletten. Primary training for the position of Project Engineer involves a combination of on-the-job training and required workshops.
The Project Engineer's primary responsibilities are to:
- Act as a liaison between the owner, architect, engineer and subcontractors

Process administrative work, including change orders, submittals, shop drawings and progress billings

Interpret drawings, specifications and resolve field issues

Manage material and equipment procurement

Estimate work in place

Develop subcontracts

Procure permits

Manage the project quality plan
