Title: Marketing Coordinator
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Summary
Coordinate marketing proposals for the office under the direction of a Marketing Manager. Position is extremely deadline driven and requires multi-tasking. Responsible for quality and timeliness of work products (proposals and information packages). Interface with internal staff (Project Executives, Project Managers, Estimators and Schedulers) and external consultants, as needed, in the proposal/interview preparation process. Responsible for administration and coordination of the proposal preparation process, presentation support and marketing resource materials.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate the production of all proposals ensuring consistency in format and content.
- Work closely with the Marketing Managers, Project Executives, Project Managers and all relevant consultants in the proposal preparation process.
- Assist in the writing and editing of proposals.
- Manage the marketing project information database; request, track and input new project information.
- Perform administrative duties for the Marketing Manager including answering phones and arranging travel and lunch reservations.
- Maintain marketing supplies (paper, binding material, printer/plotter and office supplies) and participate in general Marketing Department organizational/cleaning duties.
Required Qualifications
- Well organized, detail oriented and self-starter.
- Persistent and assertive, but not abrasive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent grammatical, proofreading and editing abilities.
- Desire and ability to communicate/interact with others and promote teamwork.
- Graphic design sensitivity and taste.
- Computer literacy (database, word processing and graphics.)
- Enthusiastic and cooperative attitude.
- Work well under pressure with ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Available to work overtime when required.
- Occasional travel to satellite offices.
Requirements
Experience
- Must have 3 - 5 years of relevant technical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator and Visio.
- Experience with Deltek Vision software or similar databases.
Education
- Four year degree preferred.
